Our first ever floral design class called Flower Hour was a blooming success! We raised over $1000 dollars for Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cure and had a blast. The evening was started with champagne and appetizers hosted by Leah Walker, Susan G. Komen team member. Michael Pugh led a floral arranging demonstration, followed by a hands-on session where participants created their own fresh flower designs. Door prizes were given away throughout the night and everyone got to take home their very own floral creation. A wonderful time was had by all! We will do it again.
